More Sea food on the platter. CRABS IT IS!!

PREP: 25 MINS COOK: 20 MINS TOTAL: 45 MINS

INGREDIENTS:

5 crabs
2 onions sliced
2 spoons garlic paste
4-5 green chilies
4 bay leaves
4 spoons chilli sauce
½ spoons turmeric powder
5 spoons tomato ketchup
3 spoons soya sauce
½ spoon ajinimoto
3 spoons corn flour
2 spoons maida
1 spoon chili powder
1 egg
Salt to taste
Curry Leaves
Vegetable oil

 

DIRECTIONS:

Clean and wash the crabs. Then break them into pieces as per your convenience.

Now take a bowl and add corn flour, maida, salt, chili powder, eggs and mix together. Next add the crabs and mix well. Keep this aside for 15 minutes.

Heat oil in a fry pan and add the crab pieces. Fry in batches till the crab pieces are cooked. Remove the crab pieces and keep them aside.

Take a frying pan, add 3 spoons of oil and add bay leaves, green chilies fry for 2 minutes.

Add sliced onions and sauté till the onions are soft.

Now add ketchup, chill sauce, soy sauce, turmeric powder, salt and ajinomoto to it and fry for 2 minutes.

Now add 1/2 cup of water to it and mix well. Add curry leaves and mix well.

Finally add the crab pieces and coriander leaves to cook for 10 minutes on low flame.

You gotta serve this with hot piping rice.
